(1) In addition to the responsibilities mentioned in the constitution and other prevailing laws, the relevant minister will have the overall responsibility to ensure that all the necessary tasks are completed on time, including the policy matters related to the work carried out by the ministry under his/her control.
(2) Without prejudice to the generality of sub-section (1), the concerned minister may give necessary instructions to his ministry and the employees under him and it shall be the duty of the concerned employees to comply with such instructions within the time.
